Latasha Kennedy is a deeply rooted woman of faith and family, a multifaceted entrepreneur, filmmaker, and business consultant passionate about empowering women and families. With a successful background in building educational programs and leading production teams in New York and Washington D.C., she seamlessly blends the arts and business worlds.
Latasha started Girlfriends Thriving was created from Latasha Kennedy’s own journey of faith, resilience, and renewed purpose. After a life-altering experience, (a 12-hour brain surgery), Latasha was inspired to create a space where Christian women could connect deeply, support each other fiercely, and thrive in every area of their lives.
More than just a platform, Girlfriends Thriving is a sisterhood. It’s a place where women come together to cultivate their most fulfilling lives—spiritually, relationally, and in their personal growth. Through virtual and in-person connections, members find a supportive network, practical tools, and empowering mentorship, all rooted in Christian values.
Latasha’s vision, inspired by 3 John 1:2, is to see women prosper and be in health, even as their souls prosper. She believes that true success isn’t just about financial gain, but about holistic well-being and a deep connection with God and each other.
